Clinical Research FELLOW IN COGNITIVE NEUROLOGY

I am an aspiring Clinician Scientist in Neurology and have recently completed my academic foundation training at Oxford. I am interested in the neural basis of decision making. This interest can be summarised into two lines of enquiry: 

1. What processes underly motivational disorders that affect patients with neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson's disease? Can this process be enhanced using medical therapy? 

2. How does Deep Brain Stimulation affect human cognition and decision making? Can this guide future therapeutic intervention in functional neurosurgery?
